I found this vintage rosary secondhand, so its personal history is unknown to me. Who owned it, whether it was carried in prayer, given as a gift or tucked away in a drawer for decades has been lost somewhere along the way.
Which, frankly, is part of what draws me to old devotional objects.
The rosary features clear blue heart-shaped beads with traditional metal findings, a crucifix and a Lourdes devotional centerpiece. The centerpiece appears to be the type sometimes made to contain Lourdes water or another small devotional element.
I cannot confirm whether this particular one still contains holy water or anything else inside, and I have deliberately not opened or disturbed it to find out. It will be sold exactly as I found it.
Whether you intend to use it for Catholic prayer, add it to an altar or devotional space, collect vintage religious objects, or simply feel drawn to old sacred pieces with histories we'll never completely know, this is a lovely survivor.

About the Lourdes Centerpiece
The centerpiece appears consistent with Lourdes devotional rosaries sometimes designed with a small compartment or vessel associated with Lourdes water.
I have not opened, dismantled or otherwise disturbed the centerpiece. I therefore cannot verify whether it contains holy water, another devotional material or nothing at all. It is being offered exactly as found.
Condition
This is a pre-owned vintage rosary and should be expected to show age and signs of previous handling or use. Please examine the photographs carefully for the condition of the beads, metal, crucifix, centerpiece and connecting links, as they show the exact rosary you will receive.
I have not attempted to polish, restore or alter the rosary.
