I don't know what this piece originally spent its life doing, but I know what I'd do with it now: put it on an altar.
The wide bowl sits on a substantial pedestal base and is decorated with applied and engraved flowers, leaves and butterflies. Against the nearly black aged bronze, some of the raised decoration and trim appear silver or pale gold depending on the light. I have not attempted to polish it back to some imagined original finish because, frankly, the patina is half the reason this thing looks so good.
It would make a beautiful altar vessel for holding crystals, charms, written petitions, dried herbs or other ritual objects. It could also be used simply as a decorative pedestal bowl if your house happens to look like someone interesting lives there.
Altar & Ritual Uses
Use it as an offering bowl, intention vessel, crystal bowl or altar centerpiece. The butterfly and floral imagery also lends itself particularly well to work involving transformation, renewal, ancestors, spirit communication or transitions.
For ritual use, I would stick with dry materials and objects unless you choose to independently confirm that the metal and finish are appropriate for whatever you intend to put inside. I would not use it for food or drink.

Vintage Condition
This is a genuinely aged piece and the wear is visible. There are scratches, discoloration, oxidation, patina, finish variation and other marks from age and previous use.
The bronze has developed different tones across the piece, including areas that appear distinctly silver-colored. I do not know whether this is an intentional contrasting finish, remnants of an original surface treatment, or simply the result of age and wear, so I'm leaving that mystery alone rather than making something up.
I have not polished or restored it. Please examine all photos closely, as they are part of the condition description and show the exact piece you will receive.
