Malachite is one of my favorite stones for the moment when you realize you have been carrying shit that was never yours to carry in the first place.
Traditionally associated with protection and transformation, malachite is often used for energetic boundaries, recognizing unhealthy patterns and finally doing something about the things you already know aren't working.
I especially like it for people who have a tendency to absorb everybody else's moods, problems and general chaos. You can care about people without volunteering to become the storage facility for all their emotional crap.
And malachite certainly doesn't look timid about any of this.
This one has a large oval cabochon with beautiful natural bands of deep and bright green running through the stone. The sterling silver setting is wonderfully simple, which lets the malachite do exactly what it should: take over the entire damn ring.
