This is one of those vintage pieces that wasn't necessarily made for tarot cards, but frankly, this is a much better use for it.
The open filigree metalwork has an aged gold finish and three divided sections that can hold tarot decks, oracle decks, a journal, reading notes or whatever tools you're currently working with. I especially like it for keeping several decks within reach during a reading without having boxes scattered all over the table.
It also works beautifully on an altar or spiritual workspace. Add a deck or two, tuck in a journal, put a crystal nearby and suddenly your collection looks considerably more intentional than "I ran out of places to put tarot cards."

The finish has been sealed with a protective coating to help preserve its aged appearance and reduce further flaking or tarnishing.
There is a small area of visible rust that I intentionally left as-is rather than trying to make an old piece pretend it was manufactured last Tuesday. Please look closely at the photos for its condition.
