This size 7 statement ring has a large freeform chrysocolla malachite stone with incredible natural bands of deep green, turquoise and blue-green. The ornate silver-plated brass setting has raised floral detailing around the stone, giving the whole thing the look of an old talisman someone might have kept tucked inside a velvet-lined box.
Chrysocolla is traditionally associated with communication, emotional balance, self-expression and knowing when to speak and when not to waste your breath. Malachite brings in the heavier metaphysical work: protection, transformation, boundaries and breaking patterns that need to end.
Together, I particularly like them for people who have a tendency to absorb everybody else's moods, problems and general bullshit. Not because a ring magically absolves you of dealing with other humans, unfortunately, but because it can serve as a physical reminder that compassion and responsibility are not the same thing.
It's also just a spectacular stone. The banding looks almost topographical, like some strange green landscape viewed from above, and every natural swirl gives this piece its own personality.
