Every neighborhood had one.
The woman who sat on the porch and somehow knew everything.
Who was fighting. Who was sneaking around. Who had money tucked somewhere they weren't supposed to. Who was lying.
And apparently, in her case, who was still talking from beyond the grave.
This antique mounted photograph features an unidentified older woman seated in a wooden chair on what appears to be a porch. Hands folded. Completely comfortable. Looking at the photographer with the quiet confidence of a woman who has already heard the entire story from three different people and one of them has been dead since Tuesday.
I have no idea who she really was.
But I've decided she's The Neighborhood Medium.
Dead men tell no tales?

They tell her everything.
The photograph is mounted on a dark board with a decorative frame surrounding the image, measuring approximately 3⅞ x 5 inches overall. It has wonderful age, fading and wear that only make the whole thing feel more like something you found tucked inside a drawer in a house where you probably shouldn't have opened the drawer.
Use her in a Victorian gallery wall, cabinet of curiosities, ancestor-inspired display, altar, or as part of your own intuitive or psychometry practice.
Personally, I'd keep her somewhere she can see the room.
She seems to prefer it that way.
Condition
Authentic antique condition with considerable age-related fading, toning, discoloration and wear to both photograph and mount. There is visible surface wear and a horizontal crack/crease extending from the left side of the mount toward the decorative image border. Please review photos carefully for exact condition.
