Om is a sacred sound and symbol originating in Indian religious traditions, particularly Hinduism, and is associated with consciousness, ultimate reality and the universe.
This is not an antique. It is a decorative piece made with a distressed finish to give it the appearance of an old, heavily patinated lock. The green verdigris-style finish settles into the recessed areas while the raised portions reveal darker and brighter metallic tones underneath.
