A massive AAA labradorite teardrop with an absolutely ridiculous electric blue flash, set in ornate silver-plated brass. Traditionally associated with intuition, psychic perception and revealing what isn't immediately obvious, this is the ring for looking past the surface and noticing what everyone else missed.

This is exactly why people become obsessed with labradorite.

At one angle, the enormous teardrop cabochon is dark, smoky and mysterious. Move it into the light and suddenly the entire damn stone lights up electric blue.

The natural patterning running through the stone almost looks like cracks of lightning or branches silhouetted against a blue night sky. An ornate silver-plated setting surrounds the cabochon with darkened scrollwork, making an already substantial stone look even more like some strange piece of divination equipment you inherited from a questionable relative.

Metaphysically, labradorite is traditionally associated with intuition, psychic perception, protection, transformation and uncovering what's beneath the surface.

I especially like it for investigative readings, tarot and psychic work because the intention practically writes itself:

What am I not seeing?

What's happening underneath what's being presented? What detail keeps getting overlooked? What's the energy behind the story? Where is your attention actually supposed to go?

It's also traditionally considered a protective stone, which makes it useful for people doing intuitive work who want a symbolic boundary between picking something up and carrying everybody else's shit around for the rest of the afternoon.

And this particular labradorite is not remotely subtle. It's a giant blue-flashing stone surrounded by ornate metalwork.

If we're going to look into the unknown, apparently we're dressing appropriately.
