The Ultimate Guide To Best Wordpress Themes 2017

I got a question inside my Facebook group about the best WordPress themes in 2017 because my last post was a year ago and aimed at interior designers. So let's get an update :)

Just so you know, this website is powered by Squarespace. I adore it because it's really easy to create a beautiful website and the functionality is awesome.

However, The Society is powered by Wordpress because Squarespace doesn't have the ability to host a membership website. Whomp, whomp, whomp.

Anyhow, let's get on with the best WordPress themes in 2017 for creative entrepreneurs

Best WordPress Themes in 2017: Bluchic Themes

Bluchic themes are on the feminine side, sorry bros. And they are beautiful. The top three themes at BluChic that you'll wanna check out are Victoria, Jacqueline, and Marilyn

Best WordPress Themes in 2017: Elegant Themes Divi

Divi is the best Wordpress theme in the "drag and drop" category. I use Divi on the Society website and it is one of the best I have used. I did use another drag and drop theme before called Enfold, but when I needed to change the theme it left bits of code everywhere. Hot mess.

Best WordPress Themes in 2017: Beaver Builder

A client recommended Beaver Builder to me saying it was an easy to use, "drag and drop" type theme. I haven't used this one so I can't give you any tea on this one. And as with any drag and drop theme, one thing you will always want to pay attention to is that because they make it easy to drag and drop a theme (which isn't a built-in feature to Wordpress) is if it slows down your site. Both Divi and the Beaver apparently are not going to slow your website down.

Best WordPress Themes in 2017: Kale

If you're looking for one of the best FREE Wordpress themes in 2017, Kale looks, um, delicious.

Best WordPress Themes in 2017: A Prettier Web

I haven't used this theme, but if you're looking for something a little bit more colorful Boss Lady looks like it fits the bill. I'd also suggest Biz Lady, too from this website. I really like that both of these Wordpress themes have list building as a priority with the newsletter sign up bar featured prominently.

Best WordPress Themes in 2017: Restored 316

These are feminine Wordpress themes that require you to have the Genesis Framework installed. This isn't a big deal to install as it goes in just like installing any plugin, but an additional purchase. I have used the Genesis Framework in the past and it's super solid.

With that being said, I'd suggest Sprinkle and Simply Charming .

One last thing on the Best WordPress Themes in 2017: make sure the one that you purchase for your business is responsive, that it is up to date, has documentation so you know how to install it so it looks like the Demo theme and that they have support in case something wonky happens. Usually any wonkiness you will experience will be because of a plugin installed on your website and that takes some detective work on your end.
