Autoresponders For Interior Designers
Getting interior design clients doesn't have to be so hard. When you know what your sales funnel looks like you can create a system to help you automate the process.
Wouldn't you rather have a system in place so you are consistently getting interior design clients?
First, let's think about your Sales Funnel.
A lead, your potential clients finds you online through your blog post or your website because they have a problem and you presented a solution. Remember our SEO? Yup, this is how we are attracting traffic to our website through blog content, keywords and social media.
They come to your beautifully design website and like what they see. They then sign up for your email list because you have enticed them with a Freebie (a lead magnet) that helps them do something.
Then what? What do you do with your subscriber once they sign up? What do you want them to do? Hire you!
And here's where most designers send out the freebie and that's it. Nothing else goes on with growing your relationship with your leads. Maybe an occasional email, but that isn't gonna cut it. Just just like a personal relationship, you need to nurture your new subscriber.
That's where your email autoresponder comes in and you start to cultivate the relationship.
What is an Email Autoresponder?
It's a set of emails that is sent automatically to your new email list subscribers through a service such as Mailchimp. It may cost extra depending on the provider. You need one to nurture your prospects automagically.
While most every designer has a signup form for their email list, it's rare that they reach out consistently with a series of pre-written emails to the subscribers. And that's just leaving money on the table.
Ideally, you will:
Create your freebie that solves one of your client’s problems (Make this soooo valuable you could charge for it)
Send them a welcome email to tell them what they can expect by being on your newsletter
Re-share old content to new subscribers
Invite subscribers to work with you by sending them to a page on your website where they can fill out a client questionnaire
Follow up with the clients
